Couple terrorised by bogus car salesmen

Posted by David Tilley on Mar 18, 09 04:53 PM in Crime

A couple who went to buy a car advertised on the internet were terrorised by muggers when they went to pick it up on Saturday.

The 29-year-old man arranged to meet the seller in Lansbury Close, Wembley at 2.40pm while his girlfriend waited in the car. But when they arrived three men threw bricks at the window shouting "get the money, she has the money". The pair managed to escape.

Suspect one is described as black, 18, wearing a grey hoodie, dark tracksuit bottoms, black and pink trainers and a black scarf around his face. The others are also described as black and in their teens.
