Hammer attack in Kingsbury park

A 14-year-old boy is fighting for his life after his beaten over the head with a hammer.
The youngster and his two friends were walking along Valley Drive in Kingsbury on Sunday (April 26) when two men wearing balaclavas got out of a black Corsa.
The masked men told the boys to hand over their property and then chased them through Fryent Country Park, where they brutally struck the teenager over the head with the tool.
He was taken to hospital with severe head injuries after the attack which happened around 8.10pm.
The first suspect is described as black, between 16 and 20-years-old, who was wearing a black tracksuit top and jeans. The second suspect is described as black and around 19-years-old.
DC Rod Taylor, officer in charge of the case, said: "This is a serious incident and police are looking for anyone in the area of Fryent Country Park who witnesses the incident to come forward."
