BREAKING: Former school head charged with fraud

rsz_alan.JPG THE FORMER head teacher of a Wembley school has been charged with fraud.
Sir Alan Davies, 64, of Grants Close, Mill Hill, was suspended from his role at Copland School in Cecil Avenue in 2009.

He will appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday June 12.
He faces charges of conspiracy to defraud, money laundering, conspiracy to commit false accounting and fraud by abuse of position.
- Six other people aged 53, 50, 51, 51, 71 and 56, were arrested in connection with the enquiry.
They have been bailed to return on various dates in May pending further enquiries.
